The Golden Age of humanity among the starlanes is OVER ...and you’re all that’s left.
You are all that remains of humanity’s attempt to harness the stars. You awoke a hundred millennia after you fell asleep, and you don’t know why the stars are bathed in blue or where your kind went. But you’re going to find out.
cyanstarlight is a solo science fiction roleplaying game of lonely journeys among the stars written by award-winning and bestselling RPG author Alan Bahr.
In cyanstarlight you are the last human in space. You travel from system to system, attempting to keep your starship functional while exploring planets and stellar locales, looking for clues as to the disappearance of humanity and why the stars now emit a faint blue-green light.
The gameplay loop features a degrading die system powered by Fari RPGs' Breathless, where every roll impacts your ability to press forward to the next stop. You must travel from location to location, attempting to gather insights that will allow you to generate one of 512 possible endings for your story! But you must balance yourself, for despair is ever present and being the last human is a truly lonely endeavor. Enemies lurk in the dark void of space, echoes of humanity still rebound, and you know not what the next star system holds.
